Excited to try this place based on reviews but found it quite average compared to another Burmese place we frequent in Sunshine.
$17 for 3 dishes with rice. Comes with soup, cucumber, carrot and celery with dip.
The good: The tea was fragrant. The soup was home cooked tasty. The portions were generous.
The average: the food was oilier and heavier than I preferred. The offal had an interesting meat like texture rather than typically chewy and bouncy offal. Beef stomach with vegetables was more typically chewy.
The bad: the bamboo shoots was much too sour for us to finish. The fermented dip was tolerable with raw vegetables but was much too strong as a condiment with rice and other dishes.

Found this place by randomly looking at google map, and what a pleasant surprised! This is my first time trying Burmese cuisine (that I remember of) and the pictures and descriptions really help to know what to expect 😀
If you are hungry and can't wait to eat, there's a ready dishes to get with rice. The lady who is at the counter is also very kind and gives her best to help me she even gave a small sample so I know exactly it is.
At the end I decided to order from the menu, eventhoug it's a hot day, I do like the fishsoup vermicelli. And the crackers so good, not sure if they are made of chickpeas but they tasted similar to Tempe goreng in Indonesia.

Will definitely be coming back!! The food is full of flavour, good sized portions and very affordable! Love the super casual, unpretentious atmosphere too. Heaps of free parking, a winner in my books.

This was my first experience trying Burmese cuisine. They have some great dishes .. please ask the host to explain some of the dishes. She was friendly and did her best to explain the dishes... Despite the language barrier. Might visit this place sometime during lunch time.

Very interesting flavors. Mixed rice is very good. Meat is very tasty. Veggies also very good. The soup that part of the mixed rice is very good, like home cook. The soup noodles taste good. This restaurant is particularly good to anyone who love to eat internal organ of animals. They cooked to perfection without urgly taste or smell. Their chilli sauce is very good. The donut is very interesting. They served with femanted seafood sauce and fresh veggie, very interesting combination. The donut itself is cold, if you takeaway, it taste much better after heat up in oven. The restaurant itself doesn't have fancy decorations, lots of huge tables. Staff are friendly. Price is very effortable. takeaway seems very popular in this restaurant. It is quite close to train station. Lots of parking nearby. Will come back to try their seafood next time.
